Naughty Angel
Naughty Angel is a comic strip created by JPC in 2004 and 2005 that tells the (mis)adventures of a teenaged girl named Angel. Angel always gets in trouble, which usually means she ends up getting spanked, typically on her bare bottom by her mother or another authority figure.
Angel has wild, curly hair and wears glasses. She has two younger sisters named Daisy and Julia. Her sisters are well-behaved and do well at school, while Angel is always looking for mischief, obviously unable to learn, and gets poor school reports. The only parent figure that appears in the comic is their mother; maybe she's a single parent but in any case she's the main disciplinarian for Angel.
The comic strip is a series of independent one-pagers. One interesting detail about the comic is that JPC made as much as possible of it language-neutral by designing the thought and speech balloons without words, but instead, with little pictograms that narrate what is being said or thought. The few words that are used (where necessary) are in English. The comic's visual style is the romantic pencil-drawing style that JPC is famous for.
The Naughty Angel comic strip appeared in the online spoof magazine (Yahoo! group) Bared Affair.
