Mouthguard gag
[Source 1]

A mouthguard gag is an unusual type of gag which uses a mouthguard (like those worn by rugby players) as the basis of the gag. Because the gag does not push into the mouth cavity / throat, it is unlikely to cause a gagging reflex (which could be dangerous). We do not have any feedback, however, as to how effective the gag is when strapped in place or what it is like to wear.
