Miss Rubber World
The New York Rubber Ball/Miss Rubber World Contest is a party and latex promotion event that has been developed and promoted by the producer of Mr. American Rubber (formerly Mr. East Coast Rubber), Phelion, who is the current President of The New York Renegades [1]. It has been ongoing since at least 2006 where it has been hosted by locale fetish notable The Baroness. The event has mostly been a one day event that culminates in a graded pageant event called Miss Rubber World where individuals and couples are awarded for prizes from some of the top latex/rubber designers and retailers around the world, but has grown to include pre and post even parties hosted by other groups and clubs. Originally it was held at Bacchus Studios but has since relocated.
2006
The 2006 New York Rubber Ball/Miss Rubber World Contest occurred on Saturday, November 11th, 2006, at the former Bacchus Studios on W. 29th St. (now closed).
2006 Miss Rubber World contest winner was: Jess aka Piglet, an employee of The Baroness.
2007
Due to the move to Rebel, the event had to push back to January 20th, 2008, so no 2007 Ball was held, allowing the inaugural winner to extend her reign by two months.
2008
The 2008 New York Rubber Ball/Miss Rubber World Contest occurred on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at club Rebel in New York City.

2009
The 2009 New York Rubber Ball/Miss Rubber World 2009 Contest was held on Sunday, January 18th (Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend) at Rebel, 251 West 30th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue in NYC!
2009 Miss Rubber World contest winner was: Jean Bardot
2010
The 2010 New York Rubber Ball/Miss Rubber World Contest[2] was held on Sunday, January 17th, 2010, (Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend) at Rebel, 251 West 30th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue in NYC.
2010 Miss Rubber World contest winner was: Dawnamatrix of Dawnamatrix Designs
2011
The 2011 New York Rubber Ball/Miss Rubber World Contest was held on Sunday, January 16th (Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend) at Rebel, 251 West 30th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue in NYC!
2011 Miss Rubber World contest winner was Archean (now Marika) of Kink Engineering. Archean dedicated part of her reign to promoting awareness of copyright theft of legitimate designers' photos and design stealing by knockoff scammers and showing how women of all shapes can look their best in well designed, properly fitting rubber garments.
2012
The 2012 New York Rubber Ball/Miss Rubber World Contest was held on Saturday, March 27th, allowing Archean to extend her reign by 2 months. 2012 marked the event's move from Rebel after four years into the Affinia Manhattan Hotel's Grand Ballroom.
2012 Miss Rubber World contest winner was: Kylie Marilyn [3]. Kylie received just over $8,400 in prizes out of a total prize pool of $15,125.
2013
The 2013 New York Rubber Ball/Miss Rubber World Contest was held on Saturday, April 6th at The Union Square Ballroom, 27 Union Square West, between East 15th and 16th St., NYC. The Miss Rubber World contest winner was Psylocke.
