Marquis is a fetish magazine covering aspects of the worldwide fetish subculture. The name is a reference to the Marquis de Sade.

It is owned and operated by Peter Czernich, a German publisher who started out making a German offshoot of the British Skin Two, another Fetish Magazine.

While the magazine name derives from the Marquis de Sade, Marquis magazine is not really aimed at people into BDSM. Instead, the magazine specializes in latex: sexy girls in catsuits, advanced designs in bondage wear and fantasies on this topic.

Marquis also have a showroom in Germany selling their magazines, DVDs and latex, leather and PVC clothing. They also made several films: Fetish Academy, White Room, Ponygirl Club.

The magazine was originally called «O» but this led to copyright problems because there was already a magazine called O owned by Oprah Winfrey.
