Data from Google Lens
Marie Prevost was a popular star during the silent film era, appearing in 121 films over her twenty-year career. This is a portrait of Canadian-born silent film actress Marie Prevost, taken by photographer Melbourne Spurr in 1928.
The photo captures her in a typical "flapper" style of the Jazz Age, wearing a cloche hat and a string of pearls. Prevost's career was influenced by her association with director Mack Sennett, who cast her in his comedies.
