Linsey Dawn McKenzie (born ✦ August 7, 1978) is a naturally large breasted (at one time 36HH but now 36DD after breast reduction surgery) glamour model and pornographic actress from Wallington, in the London Borough of Sutton, England. An alternate spelling for her first name is Linzi, used mainly by British tabloids and magazines in the early part of her career. She has been married twice, and has one child.
Background
The youngest of three children, McKenzie grew up in the south London suburb of Wallington, with her mother Lesley, her father Tony, her brother Scott, and her sister Alyson. Her mother taught at a local primary school, and her father managed a scaffolding company. Her parents divorced in 1987, when McKenzie was eight years old, and her mother remarried Chris Atkins shortly afterwards.
As a teenager, McKenzie attended Carshalton High School for Girls, where she passed six GCSEs, earning one B, two Ds, and three Es. Although she had intended to pursue a career in the tourism industry, she abandoned those plans at the age of sixteen to focus on her modeling career.
As a model, McKenzie is best known for her naturally large breasts. She has reported that her chest began developing when she was twelve years old, that she was wearing a size 34DD brassiere by the time she was fifteen, and that she reached a size 34GG by the age of seventeen.
Glamour and softcore pornography
In early 1994, twenty-year-old Alyson McKenzie took some topless pictures of her voluptuous fifteen-year-old sister and sent copies to local modeling agencies. Within days, a photographer invited McKenzie for her first professional photo shoot. Due to her age, photographers initially could use her only for bikini modeling and clothed glamour, but McKenzie made it clear that she would pose topless when she turned sixteen, the legal age to do so in the United Kingdom at that time.
When it heard of McKenzie's willingness to pose topless, The Daily Sport tabloid newspaper expressed an interest in turning her sixteenth birthday into a media event. Throughout June and July 1994, it published provocative pictures of the teenager in tight and cleavage-revealing outfits, promising to fully unveil her breasts when she turned sixteen on August 7, 1994. Shortly after midnight on her birthday, McKenzie posed topless for photos that appeared in the following morning's Sunday Sport.
Over the following year, McKenzie continued her association with The Daily Sport, becoming one of its most regularly featured models, and touring around the United Kingdom with its troupe of lap dancers and strippers. In addition, she made Page Three Girl appearances in tabloid newspapers The Sun and The Daily Star; posed topless in lads' mags such as Loaded; appeared fully nude in British softcore magazines such as Mayfair, Men Only, and Whitehouse; and made a variety of low-budget softcore videos, most of which feature her dancing and stripping in domestic settings. One such early video, Linsey Dawn McKenzie and Her Sister, featuring McKenzie and her older sister Alyson in scenes of simulated incestuous lesbianism, was made when McKenzie was sixteen and Alyson twenty-one. This film was re-released on DVD in the UK in 2002.
On July 29, 1995, just before her seventeenth birthday, McKenzie did a topless streak at a televised England v. West Indies cricket match at Old Trafford. Wearing only a thong and a pair of athletic shoes, she ran onto the field with the words "Only Teasing" written across her breasts. She later appeared on the BBC sports quiz show They Think It's All Over as a mystery guest during the "Feel The Sportsman" round. Her sporting claim to fame was her Old Trafford streak.
When McKenzie turned eighteen in August 1996, she signed a North American contract with the Score Group, publisher of the Score and Voluptuous breast fetishism magazines. Score released a special pictorial issue and a video, Linsey's 18th Birthday, to celebrate McKenzie reaching the legal age to model nude in the United States. In the late 1990s, McKenzie started her own adult websites on both sides of the Atlantic.
McKenzie became one of the premier "big boob" models of the late 1990s and early 2000s, with numerous top-shelf magazine and video appearances. A regular on Score magazine's annual "Boob Cruise", she appeared in several affiliated videos such as Score Boob Cruise 2000 and Score Boob Cruise Babes. Score chose McKenzie as its model of the year for 2004.
In 1998, Linsey's sister Alyson launched her a short-lived adult modeling career with nude Score pictorials and guest photoshoots on her sister's websites. Naturally small-breasted, as can be seen from an early topless appearance in Linsey Dawn McKenzie and Her Sister, Alyson received breast implants to boost her to a size 38DD. She achieved a modest degree of success but never escaped the "Linsey Dawn McKenzie's sister" tag line.
Over time, Linsey Dawn McKenzie's photoshoots in North American magazines and on her websites gradually came to incorporate graphic labial "spread shots," bondage scenarios, simulated lesbian cunnilingus, and insertion of vaginal and anal sex toys. At this point, she arguably crossed the line from softcore to hardcore pornography.
Move to hardcore pornography
McKenzie made several films in the late 1990s that were marketed as "hardcore" (such as Linsey Dawn McKenzie in Live Sex Video and Linsey Dawn McKenzie and Alison Having Full Sex) but these films actually depict only simulated sex scenes. In the year 2000, however, she began to make bona fide hardcore porn films:
- Linsey's Lezzie Seduction (2000) features McKenzie and American model Autumn Jade performing oral sex on each other. The scene also appears in the compilation "Best of Bosom Buddies #2"
- Ultimate Linsey (2001) features a twenty-three-minute-long scene in which McKenzie has oral, vaginal, and mammary intercourse with her first husband, Terry Canty. The film features two additional solo scenes, one in which McKenzie masturbates with a sex toy, and one in which she strips out of a wedding dress
- Maximum Insertion (2004) features a scene in which McKenzie is penetrated by an automated erotic stimulation device, a hardcore ménage à trois scene with models credited as Veronika and Robert, and a hardcore lesbian scene with large-breasted Polish model Ines Cudna
- Busty Anal Lovers (2005) features a hardcore lesbian scene with Susie Wilden, who penetrates McKenzie vaginally and anally with sex toys. The scene also appears in the compilation "Bosom Buddies #5"
- Linsey Does the Doctor features McKenzie in a 15-minute-long amateur-style video shot in a hotel room. In it, McKenzie performs oral sex and a handjob on a man calling himself "Doctor Seth." The video was released online in 2006, but was clearly filmed much earlier since it predates McKenzie's pregnancy and breast reduction.
In her early modeling years, McKenzie had a tattoo on her right shoulder that reads "MUM." She had this tattoo modified to an astrological design when her mother disapproved of her decision to move into hardcore pornography.
Film and television appearances
At the height of her popularity in the late 1990s, McKenzie often appeared on British daytime talk shows to discuss issues relating to adult modeling and breast size. She also appeared frequently on adult-oriented channels such as L!VE TV and Television X.
McKenzie appeared as herself on the 2004 reality television show I'm Famous and Frightened. She also played the character Beryl Fforbes-Juggs in Martin Gooch's 2003 film Arthur's Amazing Things, which starred Emily Booth, Mark Felgate, and Leslie Phillips.
Julian Jones featured McKenzie in his 2003 documentary about Page 3 girls, The Curse of Page 3. She also appeared on one of the illusionists David Blaine's Street Magic shows. She also appeared on an episode of Brainiac: Science Abuse where they attempted to determine who had the greater lung capacity, a professional opera singer, a deep-sea diver, or her.
On 26 May 2008, McKenzie appeared in the BBC television quiz show, The Weakest Link, but was tactically voted off by the other contestants before reaching the final, despite answering most questions correctly.
Private life
McKenzie's turbulent romantic life has been marked by tempestuous celebrity relationships and tabloid scandal. In 1996, aged seventeen, she had a highly publicized relationship with then-Wimbledon footballer Dean Holdsworth, a married man ten years her senior. British tabloids sensationalized the affair, publishing interviews with Holdsworth's outraged wife, and alleging that Holdsworth and McKenzie had made love on the bonnet (hood) of the footballer's £83,000 BMW car.
McKenzie went on to have high-profile relationships with singer Mick Hucknall, with footballers Ashley Cole and John Terry, and with EastEnders actors Dean Gaffney and Michael Greco. She had a stormy fifteen-month relationship with the latter, became pregnant by him (she miscarried), and was briefly engaged before the relationship dissolved.
In 2000, claiming to be tired of footballers and celebrities, McKenzie began dating window cleaner Terry Canty, whom she met at a petrol station in Croydon, south London. In November 2000, while partying with Canty at the Atlantis nightclub in Croydon, McKenzie got into a much-publicized catfight with nineteen-year-old sales assistant Heidi Watts, a former girlfriend of Canty's who allegedly made an obscene gesture at the couple. Watts was briefly hospitalized after the incident.
McKenzie married Canty on April 27, 2001, and performs with him in her debut heterosexual hardcore film, Ultimate Linsey. However, newspapers began reporting after only two months that the couple's marriage was on the rocks, and they would divorce ten months after their wedding.
In 2004, former Wimbledon and Northern Ireland footballer Mark Williams ended his relationship with fiancée Leilani Dowding, another topless model, and began a relationship with McKenzie. In May 2005, she gave birth to her first child, a baby boy named Luca Scott Mark Williams. On January 5, 2006, McKenzie married Williams in a civil registry office in London; the couple had a reception at London restaurant The Ivy and a honeymoon in Barbados. They now divide their time between London and a villa in Marbella, Spain, where Williams runs a company that organizes golfing holidays.
Breast reduction surgery
McKenzie's large breasts had caused her physical discomfort since adolescence; a newspaper profile written when she was sixteen noted that "she often gets backache, her boobs often feel as though they are bruised, and she has to wear extra-supportive bras with wide straps. Her back pain grew particularly acute when her breasts swelled during her pregnancy. In December 2005, aged twenty-seven, she underwent breast reduction surgery, going from bra size 36HH to 36DD. The surgeon who had augmented the breasts of Katie Price (Jordan) to a size 34FF performed McKenzie's £6,500 (US$13,000) reduction operation.
Career status
McKenzie's current career status is uncertain. Her British website has not been updated since May 2007, while her U.S. website continues to publish photosets taken before her breast reduction surgery. Although she has continued to make clothed appearances at adult conventions and trade shows such as LA Erotica and Max Power Live, she has not posed topless since she underwent the operation. Early in 2006, she told the Sunday Sport that the decision to reduce her breast size "means the end of the old Linsey Dawn McKenzie," but did not elaborate.
In July 2008, McKenzie began working at Secrets 5, a fully nude lap dancing club in London. At the time this was billed as a one-month promotion but it is suggested this may continue either here or at one of the other 5 Secrets clubs in London. This represents a significant departure from McKenzie's usual work, never before having been fully nude in public.
