Kira Reed (aka Kira Katherine Reed) (born ✦ October 13, 1971 in Santa Clara, California) is an American actress and now television producer, specialising in erotic movies.
Biographical Information
Reed studied acting at the Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville, Kentucky; and Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, graduating in 1989. She then studied at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, graduating in 1993.
After graduation, her natural beauty lead her to a career in erotica, staring in over fifty Playboy produced R-rated movies, including The Price Of Desire, Alien Files, Losing Control, Secrets Of A Chambermaid, Forbidden Highway, and Red Shoes Diaries. Reed also had roles in NYPD Blue and The War At Home.
Reed moved her career towards production, initially as a reporter and then producer on Playboy TV's series Sexcetera, she now produces the Naked Happy Girls series and is the writer & supervising producer of 69 Sexy Things 2 Do Before You Die. She has also worked as a producer for E! and Eleventh Day Entertainment.
Kira was married to Daniel Anderson (see external links) from 14 June 1997 until 2003 and created the website "MarriedCouple.com"; she currently resides in Los Angeles.
Currently, Reed is the backstage host for The Daytime Emmy Awards and the Red Carpet Host for the Hollywood Christmas Parade. She is also the spokesperson for MyMedicalRecords.com.
Kira Reed Lorsch is the president of the RHL Group producing events with her husband Bob Lorsch. Ms. Lorsch is a member of the Board of Trustees of the California Science Center and currently resides in Los Angeles.
