Keane is a character created by Aprion who has appeared in a wide variety of his artwork, such as the web comic "Demon vs. Demoness".

- Eye Color: Violet. When angered, excited or using his powers they glow like fire.

Personality
Keane's behavior is often ruthless and amoral, but he still posessess his own twisted code of honor. He is a schemer and his plans are often intricate and Machiavellian in nature. However, he is notably not vindictive as he sees revenge as foolish and even tends to try and see the positive side of defeat. In fact, his plans often work out beneficially to him in one way or another.
He is a womanizer who lets no opportunity to kiss or get in bed with a lady slip by. He has an extremely sadistic streak that often rears its ugly head when he gets excited by something. He respects martial prowess, power and ruthlessness in a person. He has little to no respect for people with authority, save those who paid for his services. To those that don't know him well he often appears rather aloof.
Though he owes his allegiance to Val Karon the Shadowking, Keane will work for anyone who pays enough for his services. And he takes almost anything as payment. Be it Gold, Slaves, Magical Weapons, Rare Artifacts, Souls, or even Sexual Favors.
Known powers and abilities
Listed below are some of his known abilities. Though there is a lot we still do not know about him.
Demonic resilience. His demonic physique grants Keane great physical power. He is believed to possess roughly fifteen times the strength of a well trained human athlete. His incredible physical condition also allows him to take great amounts of damage. He is capable of shrugging off blows that would leave a regular man severly dazed or incapacitated. He also possesses heightened reflexes that allow him to respond deftly to avoid danger or counter attacks directed at him. All his senses are incredibly keen, making it hard for someone to approach him undetected without the aid of anti-detection magic.
Spellcaster. Keane is a powerful spellcaster. He can freely manipulate fire and shadow without the need for incantations or reagents. Turning these into powerful snares and attacks, or even shaping them into purely elemental weapons or items, such as the dreaded Shadow Paddle. He is capable of warping from shadow to shadow within a three mile (4.8 kilometer) radius. Or merge with them to completely blend into his surroundings.
Demonform: Keane possesses the ability to transform into an 8 feet (244 centimeter) tall, winged monstrosity. In this form his skin becomes red and scaly, and as tough as dragonhide. His hair turns into living fire. While in this form, his physical strength triples. He grows a long, sinewy, whiplike ambidextrous tail. And also possesses the ability to breathe fire at temperatures of up to 2000 degrees Celcius (3632 Fahrenheit or 2273 Kelvin)
