John G. "Jay" Grdina (b. 1968) is an American businessman, pornographic actor, director, and producer, who usually works with his former wife Jenna Jameson. He is often credited under the stage name Justin Sterling. [1]

Grdina was born in Ohio, [2] to a wealthy cattle-ranching family. He graduated from the University of San Diego, majoring in business and psychology. After school, he pursued a variety of careers and business ventures, until 1992, when he began investing in adult films directed by Michael Ninn. From 1995 to 1999, he wrote and directed several pornographic films in Ninn's style, often under the name Michael Santangelo. [3]. Grdina met Jameson, already a famous porn star, in 1998; they married in a Roman Catholic-style ceremony on June 22, 2003. Grdina considers himself a practicing Catholic. The couple resided in Scottsdale, Arizona, in a 6,700-square-foot Spanish-style palace, bought for $2 million in 2002. [4]

In 2000, Grdina and Jameson founded Club Jenna, Inc., first as an Internet pornography company, then expanding it into a multi-media adult entertainment business company, bringing in an estimated $30 million per year. Club Jenna was run as a family business, with Grdina's sister, Kris, as Vice President in charge of merchandising. He holds the title of President and CEO. On June 22, 2006, Playboy Enterprises Inc. announced the acquisition of Club Jenna Inc., in conjunction with personal service agreements by both Jameson and Grdina. [5]

He produced, directed, and wrote best-selling and adult industry award-winning Club Jenna films, including Brianna Loves Jenna, The Masseuse, I Dream of Jenna and Krystal Method. [6] He also acted in many of these films, as the only man that Jameson would have intercourse with on screen. He won the 2005 AVN Award for Best Actor for his role in The Masseuse, using the stage name Justin Sterling.

In 2004 he was named by Details magazine as one of the 10 most successful men under the age of 37 in America.

He was a judge on the second, 2006, season of Playboy TV's Jenna's American Sex Star, where prospective porn stars compete in sexual performances for a contract with Club Jenna.

In August 2006, Star magazine and TMZ.com confirmed with Jameson's publicist that she and Grdina separated. [7] On December 12, 2006, Jameson filed for divorce.
