Head box

A headbox is placed on the submissives head to limit movement or provide sensory deprivation.

A headbox may be made from wood, metal, or plastic. It may have eye holes for vision or not. A hole for mouth access might be used for oral sex or feeding the submissive, or inserting and removing gags.

A headbox might be made of transparent plastic with LEDs mounted on the inside of the box. Turning the lights on produces light that will overwhelm the sense of sight, effectively blinding the wearer.

This sensation is similar to a bondage hood, except there is no physical contact with the head.

Depending on the method of manufacture, a headbox can be effectively air-tight. Another option might be to fill the space between the box and the head to eliminate any head movement.
