Haydée Balza (✦Caracas, Venezuela, February 17, 1948) is a Venezuelan actress with a long history of characters in Venezuelan cinema, television, and theater, such as El pez que fuma (Venezuelan film, {en: The Smoking Fish), 1977 ), and her stage performance in Oh! Calcutta!" She has been the most sensual woman on Venezuelan television. She was the first woman to appear nude in countless magazines, movies, and plays in America, such as the play Ladies' Bath, a play that ran for more than three years.

Biography

She began her studies in Dramatic Art at the Central University of Venezuela and took her first steps in show business as a dancer on the Renny Ottolina show. In Venezuela, she rises to fame with her controversial nude in the theatrical production of La Celestina.

In the early 1970s, he returned to Spain to participate in several films of the movement that would come to be known as Cine de Destape (adult films). In the middle of the decade, she became the counterpart of many Venezuelan telenovelas, alongside artists such as Rebeca González, Ada Riera, and Eva Moreno, making her the most popular and sensual villain of the silver age telenovelas in Venezuela.

The Smoking Fish Synopsis "The smoking fish" is a bar-brothel in Venezuela run by La Garza ( Hilda Vera ). La Garza makes a lot of money with her business and entrusts her lover Dimas ( Miguel Ángel Landa ) with the task of depositing it in a bank. Dimas spends the money on women and bets, and in addition, men acting on behalf of Tobías ( Ignacio Navarro ), a convict and La Garza's lover, crashes his car until Dimas appears.

To please La Garza, Dimas decides to take revenge on Tobías, but before she can do anything, Jairo ( Orlando Urdaneta ) arrives at the bar. Jairo has been sent by Tobías for La Garza to give him a job, but Dimas mistrusts him. Finally, Jairo is hired as a bathroom attendant and finds out that he is also a gambling den and a drug store.

Little by little, Jairo gains the trust of Dimas but eventually replaces him in the administration of El pez que fuma and in La Garza's bed. In revenge, Dimas tries to shoot him but kills La Garza by mistake. For this crime, Dimas goes to jail and meets Tobías, while Jairo stays with the brothel.
