GwenMedia
GwenMedia is a Los Angeles-based producer of hardcore BDSM videos that specialize in elaborate latex, rubber and other fetish costumes and equipment. The emphasis of their videos is on F/F domination, bondage, humiliation, slave training, role play, whipping, cropping, and caning.
The original company was created in 2001 by Robert Zak and John Fitzgerald as an outgrowth to feature Zak's original latex fetish clothing and costume designs. The company was able to develop an intense fetish fan consumer following that exceeded previous fetish film companies such as Shiny Films, Voila Bizarre and the occasional film production Marquis with focused usage of the latex fetish and cohesive scripts and competent specific fetish performers in their many series including

After the death of Bob Zak death in 2005, fetish actress and professional dominatrix Isabella Sinclair assumed control of the company. She writes, directs, produces, and performs (always as a stern mistress) in many of their productions. Sinclair also maintains two other divisions: Ivy Manor Videos and Gothic Entertainment. GwenMedia sells its products through its website and an eBay store.
The original company was ended by the successive management in March 2006 due to a legal conflict with former lead performer Isabella Sinclaire.
A successor company using the same name was started in 2007 by Isabella Sinclaire who was awarded all the properties of the original company. Sinclaire only releases occasional films at present, mostly leaving Gwen Media as a website focused company.
Sinclaire has reactivated the Ivy Manor film series as a reimaging of the original series, wiping away the original episodes 5 and 6 that was released by the original company. Sinclaire recently continued the original "Sessions" series (episode 14 with fetish legend Julie Simone) and has stated that she will continue the Rubberella series as well.
Other known actresses who have worked for the company include: Madison Young (who also produces her own line of videos), Jewell Marceau, Ashley Fires, Gia Regency, Ashley Renee and Paige Richards.
Sinclaire is also branching the company out as a fetish party and event production company as she and Gwen Media was shown to have been a major sponsor of the 2008 Miss Rubber World and 2008 Bondage Ball in LA. The event was noted as being Isabella's first USA "show" appearance in over eight years, though she did appear on stage in Germany in 2007 at BoundCon 07 and will more than likely do so again at BoundCon 08.

Sinclair also appeared as a sort of S&M consultant in the Spike TV quasi-reality show 1000 Ways to Die (2009). The episode depicted a male bondage slave visiting a dominatrix and dying from a latex allergy. Sinclair provided comments about the bondage lifestyle.
In the fall of 2009, she also appeared as a latex-clad dominatrix in a tongue-in-cheek television commercial airing in the U.S. for Wonderful Pistachios. In the ad, she places a single pistachio on a chair, steps back, then cracks open the nut with a single lash from a long whip. The voice-over tag line is "Dominatrices do it on command." This is part of a series of "Get Crackin'" ads featuring celebrities who open pistachio nuts in their own unique way.
