In BDSM, forced orgasm is a form of play where the dominant partner brings the submissive partner to involuntary orgasm, whilst the submissive attempts to compete with the dominant by attempting to delay the orgasm for as long as possible.

Also, the dominant partner may continue stimulation after orgasm, which may cause considerable discomfort to the submissive due to the sensitivity of their genitals. However part of the arousal of the submissive is that after each orgasm they undergo this period of discomfort knowing that pleasure will come shortly after. Part of the attraction of forced orgasms is that the submissive has no control over when and how they receive their orgasm.

It is also common to force orgasms as preparation before orgasm denial. The submissive partner is forced to orgasm many times - usually over several days or weeks - to get some kind of addiction to the feeling of orgasm. When the orgasm denial phase starts, no more orgasms are allowed.

As with all BDSM activities, a safeword may be available to either participant to end the scene if needed. Forcing orgasms can be practiced on males and females.

Usually the submissive is put in bondage with rope, leather, or rubber devices with the genitals exposed in such a way that very little movement as possible so that the submissive cannot move the genitals very much. The forced orgasm is usually brought about using toys such as vibrators, although they can be done with parts of the body of the dominant. Sometimes a gag is used so that the submissive cannot beg for mercy, but it is probably more common to let the submissive vocalize each orgasm.

For the submissive partner, the forced orgasm is totally guilt-free since the submissive has no choice in the matter. This may make the orgasm more enjoyable for the submissive partner, especially if the submissive partner is guilt-ridden with respect to sexual activities.

"Countdowns"

There are three forms:

  1. The dominant partner brings the submissive partner to orgasm, while the submissive attempts to delay the orgasm for as long as possible.
  2. The dominant partner brings the submissive partner to orgasm, while the submissive attempts climax at a preset command (also known as "Count Downs" or "Counting Down").
  3. The dominant partner continues stimulation after orgasm, which causes considerable discomfort to the submissive because of the sensitivity of their genitals. Part of the submissive's arousal is that after each orgasm, they undergo a period of discomfort knowing that more pleasure will come later.

Part of the attraction of forced orgasms is that the Dominant is controlling when, how (and sometimes where) they achieve their orgasm.
