Bondage slings are used to position a person with legs spread and raised. They are usually made of black leather, and are suspended from the ceiling by anchor points and chains; "bondage spiders" (see below); or "Bonk'ums". They may be adjusted so that the person in the sling is at the proper height for intercourse (anal or vaginal), fisting or genitorture.
Slings also are pretty common throughout the BDSM, Fetish, and Swinging worlds.
The height above the floor is usually variable using a series of chains and clips.
Bondage Spider
A "Bondage Spider" is a metal frame (usually with two, four, six or eighth legs, hence the name "spider") used to suspend a person or sling. The individual legs are designed to allow for disassembly and transport. They are designed to about seven foot, six inches tall allowing them to be set up in a room with a standard eight foot ceiling. Prices vary, but usually cost between $350 and $450 depending on accessories.
