Eyeglasses fetishism
Eyeglasses fetishism is the name used to describe a fetishistic attraction to people wearing prescription glasses or sunglasses, or in certain cases, to the act of wearing glasses or the glasses themselves.
Although attraction to people wearing glasses is generally not considered to be a form of paraphilia, extreme forms of this attraction appear to be paraphiliac. Some glasses fetishists wear strong eyeglasses. Also, some fetishists wear contact lenses of carefully calculated strength in order to enable them to see clearly through strong eyeglasses: this practice is known as "glasses over contacts". Some others go overcorrected for years hoping they will need stronger glasses.
Variations of this fetish include watching women struggle with their new glasses, glasses sliding down the nose, cleaning the smudges from dirty lenses, and even observing the vulnerability of a woman who has lost her glasses and must squint to see well, watching women wearing and manipulating with their glasses, or having sex while the partner is wearing glasses. Ejaculating on the glasses of women during sex is featured on certain porn sites.
Opaque contact lenses may also be used to limit a persons sight.
