Encasement

Encasement is where someone has a fetish for being totally covered with a type of material.

There are a number of different materials that may be used for this practice. Popular ones would be latex, PVC or leather (the traditional image of a 'gimp' would be an example of this), but nylon/pantyhose encasement is also common.

A Personal Note from Robin

I have used saran wrap to cocoon several people during a session. They have described the experience:

"The saran wrap holds body heat in and keeps air away so body heat is kept in. It also means there is no air flow so their body gets no cooling. In the normal course of events, air is continuously moving across the body and moving tiny body hairs. Your brain is uses this mammalian information to monitor its position and environment. Their is also a feeling of their body being compressed.

As I cut the saran wrap of, several people say the body expansion of their body, the fast temperature drop and the sudden feeling of air movement is very exhilarating."
