A beach is found along the shoreline of a body of water where wave or current action deposits and reworks sediments. The sediments usually which are often composed of rock, such as sand, gravel, shingle, pebbles, or cobble. or sometimes is composed of biological origins, such as shell fragments or coralline algae fragments, instead.

Although the seashore is most commonly associated with the word beach, beaches are not only found by the sea or ocean: beaches also occur at the margin of the land along lakes and rivers where sediments are reworked or deposited.

Sandy beaches are often popular recreational areas during the warmer months, but become almost deserted during the off-season.

Beaches and spanking

In child spanking art and fiction, beaches make for public disciplinary spankings, not only for misbehavior; it could be for breaking safety rules needed for the beach. The spankee might be wet or have sand on the bottom, both of which would make the spanking less pleasant.

The off season emptiness of beaches might bring adult spankos to use them as a location for an outdoor spanking.

A Personal Note from Robin

Bondage on the Delta

The San Francisco Bay Area coast line (and the Delta) have provided me with many, MANY locations for bondage photography. Many of the Delta beaches are approachable only by boat.

maRRiah and I rented a houseboat to cruise the Sacramento River Delta for a weekend. I was the "Dread Pirate Roberts" (my apologies to William Golden, author of Princess Bride) and she was my "captive", required to do everything I wanted, including the cooking and the dishes.

I spent that weekend trying out a new Canon digital camera which I had bought specifically for this weekend. maRRiah was a very good sport, spending many, MANY hours in bondage while I learned to use my new camera.
