Alexis Fire is a contortionist, Pornographic film actress, mother, educator and one of the stars of HBO Cathouse and Cathouse the Musical. She has appeared on Showtime's Family Business and most recently the Dr. Keith Ablow show, The Daily Show, and Spike TV.
Biographical Information
She worked at AIM healthcare for 2 years (aim.med.org) the clinic that provides AIDS testing for the porn industry and was honored to work for Dr. Sharon Mitchell. She was a volunteer lobbyist for the porn industry at the California State Capitol during the AIDS breakout and was a guest lecturer at Sacramento State University.
She has appeared in over 70 Pornographic films, and currently works at the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, a brothel near Carson City, Nevada.
Fire earned her Bachelors Degree in Dance, from Santa Clara University in 1992, has over 24 years of dance, choreography and teaching experience with mainstream dance companies, working with amazingly talented inner city kids, guest lecturing at colleges, as well as pursuing a career in the adult industry. She has over 4 years of yoga training and is also naturally flexible and hypermobile in both hip and shoulder sockets.
Fire has appeared on Playboy Nightcalls and Playboy 411 five times. Fire is a featured Lactating Contortionist in The Learning Channel Documentary Body Benders, The Jenny Jones show, and The BBC Documentary, Sex, Warts and Everything.
She owned a licensed and bonded talent agency in the San Francisco Bay Area and was one of the costume coordinators for the movie Jack with Robin Williams and directed by Francis Ford Coppola and a dancer in Back by Midnight the last film with Rodney Dangerfield before he passed away in 2004.
Her dream is to continue her education and eventually earn a PhD while creating a non-profit Foundation to educate the public about the overwhelming benefits of legalizing prostitution and help mediate the urgent issues surrounding prostitution in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Canadian post-hardcore band Alexisonfire is named after Fire.
