The Correctional Academy for Wayward Gentlewomen is a fictional girl's boarding school in Edmonton (Greater London) from the comic book series "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" by Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill.

Its headmistress is the stern disciplinarian Miss Rosa Coote. "The Correctional Academy for Wayward Gentlewomen" is obviously inspired by the unnamed academy in the series Letters to a Lady Friend, or Miss Coote's Confession that appeared in the Victorian erotic magazine The Pearl in 1879-1880.

In Coote's description, the original headmistress of the Academy is Miss Termagant Flaybum. The school is a large spacious mansion in Edmonton that formerly belonged to some nobleman. It stands on its own grounds. The private gardens, next the house, are enclosed in high walls to prevent any elopements. The school is home to nearly three dozen young ladies and is very select, "none but the daughters of the aristocracy or officers of the army or navy were admitted to the establishment."

In the comic, the architecture of the building reflects the spanking theme: the central area of the house looks like the body of a young lady bending over; her bare bottom forms a dome-like structure. The gate tower is shaped like a hand, with the word Schadenfreude written over the entrance. A clocktower boasts an oversize clock.
