Slaves can be categorized into several groups.

• Service Subs - best described as people who serve in a non-sexual manner.
• Sex slaves - those who serve in a primarily sexual role.
• Pain slaves - those who are primarily interested in pain, and "how much they can tolerate for the sake of their Master or Mistress".

Sex slaves come in two basic categories:

1. "I live to have sex". They totally enjoy sex, and they are willing to do almost anything to have orgasms, even if that means their Mistress enjoys it.

2. "I have sex to live". It isn't that they don't enjoy sex, it is more that they enjoy the thought they are being forced to engage in an act they would not normal do. It seems that one major fantasy is the "I am a heterosexual male. I will not be involved in any homosexual acts because they are against my personal values and belief system. However, if my Mistresses force me to pleasure a man, what else can I do?" This allows a person, "under duress", to accomplish acts they would not, under any circumstances, otherwise do.
