We are a non-profit social group. At this time the only fee we charge is to cover postage for those members who receive the newsletter via regular mail.

Our meetings are scheduled for the first Saturday of each month. I will announce the location in the mailing.

Munches in San Antonio, Texas

The San Antonio S/Munch is a new monthly event in San Antonio for S&M, Dominance & Submission, Bondage & Discipline, Goth, Fetish, Spanking, and Leather enthusiasts to meet and socialize. (We are not a dating service.) We practice appropriate BDSM: Safe, Sane, and Consensual. Privacy is respected and discretion is required.

SASM is an open group. I'm only asking for this information for a picture of our composition: the number of straight male submissives, bi-male switches, gay female dominants, etc., This information is to help me plan possible future events and answer inquiries about our composition, not for matching purposes or to compartmentalize our membership. As long as you are an adult practicing safe, sane, and consensual BDSM and respect the sexuality and confidentiality of our other members you are welcome. Your information is confidential.

MEETINGS

Socials usually take place on the first Saturday of the month, locations vary.

DRESS

Dress for yourself: Fetish wear is appropriate but not required. There's no need to run out and buy a $300 Catherine Coatney design in order to "fit in." Most of our members dress as they would for a PTA meeting.

If we meet in "the Lounge" the meeting will be closed to the general public and your dress can be more suggestive than if we meet in a restaurant. If we meet in the restaurant, it will most likely have counter service rather than a wait staff, but we will reserve a private room. In other words: wear something over the more explicit clothing until we get into the private room. San Antonio is a conservative town. We can't get away with as much as in Austin or Houston, which is all the more reason for us to get together and be ourselves.

WHAT WE ARE NOT.

We are not a dating service. That's not to say this is not a place to meet potential play partner, just that you shouldn't come on too strong. This is above all an opportunity for leather folk to meet each other and talk about BDSM in a *relaxed* atmosphere. Many of our members are looking for someone to play with, many are not.

CONFIDENTIALITY

All SASM functions are confidential. BDSM is a very private matter to SASM members, please respect their privacy. This is a common requirement of BDSM organizations.
