Enthusiast
A fan, or enthusiast is someone who has an intense liking of a person, group of persons, work of art, action, idea, or trend.
A fan is a person who likes science fiction but is not an active creator of science fiction art or stories. Still, fans are often more than mere consumers: they share artworks and stories with other fans and thus help spread the work. They also encourage artists and authors to create better and better works.
In manga, fan art or doujinshi means artwork which is based on characters from professional mangakas but created by fans who are nonprofessional, hobby artists.
Similarly, "fan fiction" means fiction which is based on existing characters or settings from a professional work of art, such as a novel, movie, or television series. Such works are commonly created and distributed freely on the internet, although they may violate the copyright on the original work of fiction. Spanking fan fiction is a work of fan fiction in which spanking is a major focus.
