There is the fantasy, roleplay or lifestyle involving a human acting like an animal in some way:

Animal transformation fantasy - pretending to be, or forced to act like, an animal.
- Pony Definitions
- "Pony Play" - a human is costumed and treated as a pony, who might be driven, required to pull a pony cart, dressage, show ponies and/or might be ridden. People quite often involve themselves in Animal Play because of the apparent (non-human) disconnect between the 'pet' and its' 'owner'.
- "Puppy or Kitten Play" - training, showing and playing as a household pet.
- "Plushie" - a human who dresses in any of various animal costumes
Human animal roleplay - taking on the role of an animal.
Pony play - acting like a pony or horse.
Puppy play - acting like a dog or puppy (for fox, see Yiff).
Snake play - acting like a snake.
