Silk Stocking
- Notes
The library of Kinsey Institute has a copy in Modern Editions the date of publication of which is assessed in the 1940s (quotation 843.8 K39 b2 1940) and from that the subtitle differs lightly: instead of Three curious letters, they point out Two curious letters, and there would be an illustration at least. See pictures ci-low.
An edition of the years 1920-30 also carries a different subtitle: Passions of great ladies and illustrations, to the number of 8, are of Edward Bernard and another artist.
Work was translated into English in Modern Editions under the title: Silk Stockings (v. 1940).
The same editions published Silk stocking and sex appeal under the pseudonym George de Chanrosey in the 1920s. Is it about the same text?
