Aynafesse Chronicles is a series of spanking stories by Lawrence Kinden that take place in the same universe and share many of the same themes, most notably spanking. By in-universe chronological order, The Aynafesse Chronicles include:

It should be noted that "fesse" is the French word for "spank".

Common threads

Aiphledaliph

The city of Aiphledaliph, also called the Black City or the City of Guilds, is the capital of the Allied City States (ACS) in 'Mancers. Spook Squad takes place in a city called NewAiph, as does X-5. Zoe, from Witches of Kinter moves away from NewAiph at the beginning of the story. NewAiph was founded on the edge of the crater that was created when Aiphledaliph was destroyed.

Harem style stories

The series in the Aynafesse Chronicles often feature harem style stories. Both 'Mancers and Witches of Kinter feature a group of four females who are spanked by a single male. Spook Squad mentions a group of four men, one of whom was once the primary spanker.

Itching hand

Oftentimes when a spanking is needed/deserved, somone in the group, usually the primary spanker, will begin to feel an itching in his or her palm that indicates a desire to spank whomever is deserving.

Exorcism

David Chance must save the girls of his coven when tehy become possessed by deamons. He achieves this via firm spanking on bare bottoms, though the aether-wrough switch seems to be the key. The Magician uses a spanking to exorcise a deamon from a girl (Susan) in 100 Tails.

Personal names

Many characters have names that hint at their powers or personality. For example, Theresa Allhue, a minor character in 'Mancers, is a pictomancer, which is a mage who deals in color and light. Hue is a word that deals with the properties of colors. A reverse example is Griselda Paxton from X-5, who is known as Pax, a word that means "peace" in Latin. Pax is known for her temper and pugnacious attitude, so her name is actually counter to her personality.

Spanking and magic

Spanking is a natural part of magic in this world, as explained by Mrs. Litha in Witches of Kinter: Year 1.

I think of spankings as a natural part of magic, though not everyone agrees. But no one will deny that many in the magical community can sense the visceral power of a spanking.
